Who:   Any high school graduate up to age 24 in the Illinois Valley that will be or is currently attending a four-year  university is eligible.  This is not exclusive to our current or former patients but is open to any Illinois Valley area graduating senior or current college student who is willing to complete requirements of the application.

When:   Applications due July 1st, 2025

What:   Up to 5 - $1000 scholarships to be used for higher education at a university/college.

 At our office we seek to improve lives not only by keeping kids’ smiles healthy, but also by spreading kindness.  The topic of the essay this year is  "Kind Words, Bright Smiles, Better World"

​How:    Applicants must submit either a 350-500 word essay, put together a one-minute media presentation, or artistic work that reflects your feelings on our topic.

​

A genuine smile can ease tension and even resolve conflict.  Tell us about a time when you helped bring people together - whether by resolving a disagreement, finding common ground, or bridging a gap between differing opinions.  How did your actions help create understanding, and how did that experience shape you?  At our dental office, we believe in the power of a healthy smile - and a kind heart - to make the world a better place.

Submission via e-mail is due by  July 1st, 2025. Please include proof of acceptance to school attending. Winners entries will be posted on our social media.

***Winners will be based on creativity and content. We are looking for thorough, thoughtful, creative responses! Scholarship winners will be notified by August 1st and announced on our Facebook page.
